So you need a ride? Or are looking for something a little more long term?

Read the Plan, check the FAQ and make sure you think we’re compatible. Half the fun of this trip for me is meeting other people, which means locals *and* travellers. If you want a ride for just a day its not so important, if you’re also heading into Central America I want someone who I get along with.

Depending on the size of vehicle I am looking for 2 to 3 people, 21 years and up to help share gas/expenses. No couples, sorry, 2 friends should be OK, 3 friends are too much (yes, even if you are 3 hot girls! :p). I will consider your opinion on adding other people.

The ‘Rules’:

1. I have to see ID before you get to come, and I will take a photo and upload it to my secure server.

2. No smoking in the vehicle.

3. If someone doesn’t like the music, we change it (that includes my music :) ).

4. No bigots (someone who appreciates the finer points of all our differences is OK).

That’s it. I want someone who can hold a conversation, but also knows when to just shut up and enjoy the view. Someone with ideas of things to do on the way, who might suggest something I would never dream of is cool. Someone who likes music, will put up with my photo stops and can hold it together when it all going to pot is what I need. People who need to get drunk every night are not what I’m looking for, a couple of times a week and partying with control is good. People who like to dance are good too. People who can speak Spanish (and are willing to teach me) get bonus points.

I want to do some hiking and camping in National Parks, see the sights, museums and galleries, but not obsessively. I want to get a flavour of the country not tick off some list in a guidebook. Mostly I want to have fun but not at the expense of pissing my money away, I don’t want to have to go back to work…..
