Well, I decided to take a break from my trip and on the spur of the moment bought a flight back to the UK from El Salvador. Then I decided to take a break from the UK and came to Barcelona for a week. Now the question is whether my fake driving licence would get me a hire car so I can take a break from Barcelona and visit Andorra. There is another country only 200km away just waiting to be explored!!
I’m here visiting Lucia which is nice but she’s going through something of a crisis at the moment which means she’s not the best company. Neither am I it seems, how can I mend a broken heart??
Barcelona is great though, the weather is just perfect, the beach nice, the med warm and the girls extremely attractive! I’m in Catalunya which means my Spanish is only of limited use but most people speak English. If I *have* to return to Europe to work, this could be the place. Or maybe winters here and summers in Sweden…

Airports can be so annoying….. they checked my guitar after the xray machine and took my old strings…. which is fine. But then one of the guards saw the chain on my wallet and confiscated it. His only explanation was ‘its for your security’. That’s exactly the point of it!!
I found out yesterday that Lucia had fainted, fell off some stairs and smashed her head open and was then persuaded to head of to Morrocco to be some rich Italian’s nanny. Some people are so selfish. Then she was given grief at the airport for overstaying her visa (while bleeding from the head) and I haven’t heard from her since yesterday morning. Its not a good sign…
My Spanish must be getting better, I had a 45 minute conversation with the Taxi driver about God all the way to the airport. Do I really want to spend eternity in a lake of fire??? It’s not that good that he converted me though :p
